The youngest Minister of Education, author of the scandal about "36 thousand"
Political scientist (graduate of Mohyla Academy, master's degree from Maastricht University as a Soros Foundation scholar). Since 2014 — at the Ministry of Education and Science: advisor to Minister Kvit, later Director General of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and European Integration. Member of Parliament of the 9th convocation (No. 50 on the "Servant of the People" party list), resigned her mandate to become Minister of Education in the Honcharuk government (August 2019 — March 2020); left together with the entire government.
Scandals during tenure
The most notable was a statement that with a salary of 36,000 UAH she could not save up for an apartment, for which she apologized amid teachers' salaries debates. She faced criticism for transferring art universities to the Ministry of Culture (with months without salaries and scholarships), the initiative to increase contract tuition fees for 38 popular specialties, and the failure of the experiment with e-textbooks, which she herself acknowledged. She stated that there are "too many" teachers in Ukraine.
After politics
Since 2022 — founder of the charitable foundation savED, which restores educational infrastructure in communities affected by war. No criminal proceedings, suspicions, or pro-Russian connections have been recorded in open sources.
