171 million from railway workers' salaries — to a "medical" company

The Chairman of the Board of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Oleksandr Pertsovskyi found himself at the center of a scandal: according to antikor.info, over 171 million hryvnias, collected from the salaries of more than 170 thousand railway workers for "medical provision," are directed to an unclear structure with only seven official employees. The organization is physically incapable of serving such a number of people across the country — yet money flows regularly.

Seven people — and hundreds of millions

The organization receiving these funds has neither the staff nor the resources to properly serve railway workers. A standard question arises: where do the funds really go? Contracts with such structures are a typical mechanism for siphoning money from a state enterprise through sham "services."

"Not to steal" — and a scheme worth 171 million

Upon appointment, Pertsovskyi publicly promised: "Not to steal and not to let anyone steal." According to the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, "stealing during the war is like stabbing the military in the back." But under his leadership, the siphoning of millions through an opaque medical structure continues. Words and actions have diverged since his first month of work.

A system without audit — appetites without limits

"Ukrzaliznytsia" is a monopolist with multi-billion turnover and minimal public reporting. Any opaque structure receiving funds from Ukrzaliznytsia operates outside real audit. Pertsovskyi inherited this system and did not dismantle it — on the contrary, the scandal emerged during his tenure.
