Gallery at Someone Else's Expense

Art Ukraine Gallery was founded in 2016 by gallery owner Nataliya Zabolotna. In 2023, Lyudmyla Pyshna — wife of the NBU Governor Andriy Pyshny — joined as a co-founder. According to Zabolotna, Pyshna promised one thing: to bring friends and business partners of the family. At charity auctions under the Art Ukraine Gallery brand, two-thirds of the guests came precisely from the Pyshna family. The proceeds from the auctions were transferred to Pyshna's fund "Vidchuy".

Raider Takeover Without a Shot Fired

In February 2025, Zabolotna came to the "Domosfera" shopping center and was unable to enter her own office: security did not provide keys, the banner and logo were removed. The management of the shopping center announced that the lease agreement was being transferred to Lyudmyla Pyshna — without changing the gallery's format. Zabolotna called this raiding and called on anti-corruption agencies to respond.

15 Million from the Family of a Scandalous Businessman

Along with the scandal, it became known that Lyudmyla Pyshna borrowed 15 million hryvnias from the family of businessman Pavlo Kotyk — a person who returned from the Russian Federation and became a subject of the journalistic investigation by Bihus.info. The wife of the NBU governor and loans from those under investigation — raise more questions than answers.

A Lawsuit Instead of Explanations

Instead of publicly refuting the facts, Pyshna filed a lawsuit against Zabolotna — for "protection of business reputation." A familiar tactic: to silence through the courts what is inconvenient to explain publicly. The missing million from charity auctions and the privatized gallery that once belonged to someone else — this is what the "socially responsible project" of the banker's wife looks like.
