Corruption schemes at the airport and false declaration

Sources in the Supervisory Board of Boryspil Airport feared that after leaving his position, Ryabikin tried to maintain influence over corruption schemes — including procurement at inflated prices, leasing spaces at undervalued rates, "special agreements" with airlines, and fuel supply schemes. The Security Service of Ukraine uncovered embezzlement of over 37 million UAH during the construction of the parking lot at the airport — during the time Ryabikin was in charge. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention found that in the 2016 declaration, Ryabikin concealed his corporate rights, non-residential premises, and his daughter's car.

Protected island, apartment in occupied Sevastopol, and ambassador in Beijing

Journalists discovered that the cooperative "Sovski Stavky," controlled by Ryabikin, planned to develop 15 hectares of the protected Zhukov Island, contrary to Kyiv's Master Plan. In his declaration, Ryabikin listed his wife's apartment in Sevastopol, occupied by Russia. In 2023, after resigning from the position of Minister of Strategic Industries, Ryabikin was appointed as Ukraine's ambassador to China — a post he held until December 2024.
