Moreover, due to the complete coincidence of the name and surname of the general, there are constant attempts in the media to link him to the scandalous case of Zhytomyr's deputy mayor Oleksandr Shevchuk (the same figure involved in the "fake divorce" and multimillion hidden assets). The head of the DSR himself maintains a strict information defense, focusing on official reports about the fight against crime.
