1,250 plots in Sumy region, destroyed documents, and bail of 75 million UAH
Between 2017 and 2021, a criminal group seized 1,250 land plots totaling 2,493 hectares in the Sumy region worth over 291 million UAH: through controlled officials of the State GeoCadastre, the plots were transferred under the guise of "free land" to predetermined citizens who were obliged to immediately lease them to the agrarian holding. Participants in the scheme destroyed documents confirming the rights of state enterprises to the land, after which the State GeoCadastre drew up acts of "unauthorized occupation" of the plots. The NABU also stopped an attempt to seize another 3,282 hectares. On April 23, 2024, Solskyi was notified of suspicion; the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested him with bail set at 75.7 million UAH. In January 2026, the case was sent to court; in March 2026, the appellate chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court retained the proceedings in the anti-corruption court.
