129 suspicious loans and $1.9 billion – without suspicion

Oleh Horokhovskyi is a co-founder of Monobank and a former first deputy chairman of the board of PrivatBank. The London High Court established that he personally approved 129 loan agreements to related companies, through which over $1.9 billion was withdrawn from the bank. More than Dubilet (115 agreements), as many as Yatsenko (129). Dubilet and Yatsenko are wanted by NABU. Horokhovskyi is a member of the Entrepreneurs' Council under Zelenskyy.

NBU blacklist and threat to Monobank depositors

After the opening of criminal cases against PrivatBank, Horokhovskyi was included in the National Bank of Ukraine’s "blacklist." His activities became an obstacle to international aid to Ukraine – a point noted by the IMF. A person on the National Bank's blacklist continues to be the public face of a fintech project serving millions of Ukrainians.

Business contacts with Kolomoisky after Privat’s bankruptcy

The British court recorded "credible evidence of communication between Horokhovskyi and Kolomoisky" after 2016 – i.e., after leaving the bank that went bankrupt. Participation in "business matters of Kolomoisky and Bogolyubov until June 2019" – almost three years after the bank was officially nationalized and investigations were launched.

Public image as a shield from responsibility

Horokhovskyi is actively present in media, on air, and on social networks – always with commentary, always with a stance, always "pro-Ukrainian." A frequent guest at events, member of advisory bodies under the president. According to journalists’ assessments, this public image is his main defense against legal consequences. While his Fintech Band colleagues remain wanted or under bail, he gives interviews to Forbes and increases his share in Monobank.
