People's Deputy of the VII convocation from the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda (№12 on the list), Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada (December 2012 — February 2014). Deputy Head and Head of the Secretariat of Svoboda. Active participant of the Revolution of Dignity. In 2016, mobilized and served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas. In 2019, the sole candidate from the united nationalist forces for president.

Started a fight in the Regional Council

In 2015, during a meeting of the Lviv Regional Council, when the issue of transport carriers was being considered, he attacked with fists the assistant to the head of the regional council, Valentyn Kharlov, accusing him of provocation. The same year, he lost in the second round of the mayoral election of Lviv to Andriy Sadovyi. He was absent from commission meetings of the Lviv City Council VI convocation.
