Absences from Kyiv City Council, language law scandal, and postponement of the Ukrainian dubbing of series
In 2018, he missed 29% of the meetings of the permanent commission of the Kyiv City Council — included in the list of systematic absentees. The same year, "Samopomich" was involved in a scandal related to land allocation to the family of a faction member; Osadchuk left and founded the "Kyiv Team" group. In June 2021, together with Rudyk, Zheleznyak, and Kostenko, he voted for a draft law that postponed the introduction of Ukrainian-language dubbing in series and films on Ukrainian TV — the vote caused an outcry among "Holos" supporters.
