Member of Parliament from Holos, entrepreneur and philanthropist, one of the leaders of the Revolution on Granite

People's Deputy of the IX convocation from the Holos party, elected from majoritarian district No. 117 in Lviv. Secretary of the Committee on Economic Development. One of the leaders of the 1990 student Revolution on Granite, co-founder of the art association Dzyga, honorary senator and philanthropist of UCU, founder of the Lviv Business School of UCU. From 1995 to 2019, he was the general director and owner of Trottola company.

Death in a road accident in Ivano-Frankivsk region

On July 24, 2025, at 21:45 on highway H-09 “Mukachevo — Lviv” near the village of Babukhiv, Rushchyshyn was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and collided with a trailer attached to a tractor moving in the same direction. He suffered fatal injuries — severe traumatic brain injury, neck and limb damage. He died during transportation to the hospital. The investigation of the circumstances of the death is being conducted by the State Bureau of Investigations (DBR).
