Person information

A career judge from the district court who became the head of the country's main anti-corruption court

A path without a "star" background: legal counsel → since 2012 a judge of the Shargorod District Court in Vinnytsia region → a judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) since its launch in 2019 (passed a competition with evaluation by international GRECO experts, second place in the ranking — 782 points). On March 25, 2026, the judges' assembly elected him head of the HACC for three years, replacing Vira Mykhailenko. According to his declaration, he drives a Hyundai Accent — no palaces or yachts.

Not a defendant in cases, but the one who judges them

Strohyi sat on the panel that sentenced former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to 6 years (2025); considered cases involving Kolomoisky, former Supreme Court Chairman Knyaziev, MPs Marchenko and Skorokhod, and is procedurally involved in the "Midas" case. A rare example of a judge with a clean biography. Perhaps only for now.
