Criminal past and startup capital

Several media outlets claim that in the 1990s Tyshchenko led one of Kyiv's organized criminal groups under the nickname "Kolya-Obolonsky." Thailand during the war and expulsion from the faction

In January 2023, in the 11th month of the full-scale invasion, Tyshchenko flew to Thailand, explaining it as a "meeting with the Ukrainian community." Amid the restrictions imposed by the NSDC on the travel of officials and deputies, this caused public outrage. On January 27, 2023, he was expelled from the "Servant of the People" faction.

Suspicion in beating the "Kraken" veteran

In June 2024, Tyshchenko was notified of suspicion in the unlawful deprivation of liberty of a former fighter of the "Kraken" special unit in Dnipro. The court imposed house arrest. The deputy systematically ignored hearings — the court ordered forcible appearance.
