Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration under NABU searches, with fortification schemes and a career linked to the 'Regions' orbit

He began his career in 2012 as a public assistant to the notorious People's Deputy from the Party of Regions, Iryna Berezhna. Currently Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration; previously — Chair of Poltava Regional State Administration. His wife, Hanna Zhuravlova, is a research fellow at Kharkiv National Medical University, 50% owner and ultimate beneficiary of Sibonay Limited LLC and Segura-Capital LLC. Declared family assets include $135,000 and UAH 330,000 in savings for Synehubov, and $255,000 and UAH 315,000 for his wife.

NABU searches without charges, fortification overpayments, and a company selling paper products for construction

In April 2023, NABU conducted searches at the Kharkiv Regional State Administration — including at Synehubov, his deputy Kovalska, and the director of the Agro Department Dorozhko — in a case regarding the embezzlement of humanitarian aid; no charges were filed. A year after the criminal case regarding abuses in Kharkiv region fortifications was opened, Synehubov has not been summoned to parliament, despite the Anti-Corruption Center ‘‘Mezha’’ demanding his report. Synehubov himself claims that over 90% of publications about overpayments were unsubstantiated; the construction is under law enforcement supervision. Separately: the Regional State Administration hired a company selling paper products for the fortification construction.
